We highly recommend choosing someone you know. This decision could come easier for certain couples but take some time before checking this off your list. If your wedding officiant knows you, they will be able to use personal stories during your ceremony. This could be an aunt/uncle, religious leader from your place of worship, childhood friend. etc. Don’t be afraid to meet with a few different people before making the final decision!
